The weather here has been just that- severe. The entire Nashville area is experiencing extreme flooding. Even the Cumberland River is at an all time high and crews preparing to sandbag in efforts to keep the river out of the downtown area businesses. It's crazy, awful and frightening to watch the events on the TV- yet that's pretty much what we've done today. While we are not in Nashville, we are south east and are experiencing tons, and tons of rain. Yesterday I saw 2 dead squirrels in my street- apparently they had been thrown from the trees during the tornado warning (we were in the closet.) A couple of hours later, after the rain started, they were gone, washed away by the current in our street. We are fortunate though, while the weather has been bad, we have not been in the direct path of anything destructive and I'm praying it stays that way. I'm also praying for those that are directly affected. Homes, businesses, cars, delivery trucks- all washed away.
This video shows what happened yesterday evening...
Can you imagine?? I can't. This is a road I have driven over and over again.
So, we'll spend the night warm and snuggly with our babes, grateful to be safe and warm and pray for those who are not. Wherever you are, I hope you are safe and warm as well!

We'll be praying too.
We are expecting flash flooding here too. I hope it doesn't get that bad here. It is amazing the power of water. That video is scary. Please keep safe. Sending prayers your way!
Oh my! Those images are just plain scary. Stay safe!
